| I had an airforce dryer when I had my harley. Thinking about a leaf blower electric 2500w. If I use it for the garden will it still be alright for drying the bike off? | |

| I bought a leaf blower from Argos for £20, just looked and they don't sell that model any more. I wouldn't be without it now, great buy. | |

| Leaf blower is good for blowing the dirt out of my carport after a west Texas dust storm. And I can still use it on my bike. :cmate: | |

| If you use a leaf blower/garden vac for vacuuming before using it as a blower to dry your bike, Does it throw shit and dust on the bike?
ps. how do you spell vacuuming correctly?

| Vacuuming is spelt correctly Sim. You are asking the same question as me re gardening and then bike drying.
They sell HD branded bike dryers for £150. They are made by metro. I bought a pet dryer by metro same design and specs for £45 lol.... I think a leaf blower is better.

My one was a cheapo one for £20, not a fancy, all singing, all dancing one. It does not have a suck, only a blow. I would be very dubious about using a blow shortly after the suck had been used, especially if it could collect as well. Well only if the collection bag was removable. On my blow only cheapo model I have even cut a small & very thin piece of foam that is used as a filter on the air intake. Maybe that was a bit of overkill but at least I know its sucktion will never grab & blow any freshly killed bugs at the bike while doing it. Again, I think maybe that was over the top.
