Took Dave's advise on lowering the riders backrest today,must admit have not been out riding yet but does feel better just sitting on bike.Cheers Dave that's what makes this forum work,people like yourself taking the time to reply to topics and generate some tips.

Glad a little discussion oh the site has helped. I suffer rather a lot with my bad back and having the backrest supporting my lower back really has made a difference. Positioning really is the key, slight changes can make all the difference I believe.
