| Hi gents, After today's ride to clear my head... I started wondering how your clutch behaves. Mine is rather loud... first and second gear are producing a proper "clunk!" which I don't mind at all as I take it in as part of experience but somewhere in the back of my mind I'm thinking...is it meant to be like that. The higher the gear the less noisy, with 5th being the shortest and quietest of them all... So...what's your "clunk"? | |

| Hi Marcin Especially from cold, mine drops into 1st from neutral with a very pronounced clunk. Had it since 400 miles old, so I just assumed it was "one of those things" rather than a fault which had developed. | |

| :) Yeah... from neutral to 1st is the mighty one... sort of "get ready everyone as the rocket is engaged now" warning | |

| This question has been raising a few times in the past here, especially on the bikes with fewer miles. It seems to be something shared between all intruders, a somewhat clunky gearbox, and nothing to worry about I think. The clunk is pretty loud on mine but nowhere near as bad as some of the other bikes I have tried. | |

| Yep is definitely normal especially in first gear before the auto choke has turned off | |
