Hi Risers 4070287859

My other half has a 2011 UK spec m800, I am looking at getting some risers for her, can Risers 1337224149 recommend or refer me to a website that does them? also if i put risers on will i have to alter the cables hydraulics etc? Risers 2430667360

any info would be really appreciated.

Cheers

Hi you can go 2" without changing cables.what I done was went for a set of bars off a VL800,you can also go for a C800 bar,if you go down this route you will have redirect your cables to the other side of the tree, this can be done without replacing them, this is a cheaper way to go,plus you get the pull back you require. There are links on here with the jobs done.

You can always go for a 1 or 2" extension that exactly matches the stock risers but you have to get them from america I think.
I think most stuff comes from the states at about 10 days or so. No reported problems on here from anyone that has bought from over there and the prices are often better than buying from here, even with postage

Just seen your post. I have just fitted 1" risers to my VZ800 (M800 2008 model)....... bought them from Shapemaster (find them on eBay) for about £50 or so .... shipped from USA no problems.
~Fitting is easy..... just take your time getting the stock studs out of the handlebars.
~No need to change any cables.... plenty of play!
