PostSubject: Saddlebag Locks   Sun May 15, 2011 11:14 am

I've been looking for a lock system for my saddlebags and think I've found the ideal thing. It's made by HD, but it's universal in it's application. Check out the video and view 2.

there are others. One also doubles as a helmet lock, but I'm after something like this that simply locks the bag closed. It won't stop determined thieves but will give me some piece of mind when I have to leave anything of any value to me behind in the bag.

clever idea, doesn't quite work for me as my bags have been modded (shown in one of the threads) but some clever thinking there.

Oh sorry ignor my last post I completely misunderstood the concept of how those locks work as I didn't watch the video or look at image #2 as I was accessing the site from my phone.
I might get some of those, thats a very reasonable price as well.

I just went out and bought two small long necked padlocks and put one each of them through the bottom strap hole and through buckle on each side this cost me $2 to lock each saddlebag, no mods at all as lock went through the hole without any trouble.
