PostSubject: elsonico's 2001 VL800C   Sat Mar 09, 2013 7:31 pm

So, this is my current ride:

bought it in the Summer of 2011 with only 1000miles on it like this:

After a minor accident and a long winter, I decided to make some cosmetic changes:

As my garage is not heated, I decided to head to a more comfortable spot:

new tail&break-light, indicators, stripped licence plate mount, Silvertail exhaust:

still a work in progress...

spraypainted speedo-cover and front light:

still to come: new grips and a slightly differnt tail-light setup

I'm thinking about cutting down the fenders, as well, but haven't ultimatly deciced on doing it...

More pictures to come once the weather gets better...cheers!

thank you, as it turns out, I took this picture with my mobile phone, I didn't expect it to become that good. I took it a couple of weeks ago during my very first ride this year, you can even see snow in the background...

I started through the patio doors with one of my bikes once & my Mrs didn't say a word. The stare from those mad green Irish eyes was enough to tell me to get the fek out of there without delay.

So, moving the bike into the living room was a result of a long night with a number of cold brews. In the morning, I mentioned that I've been thinking about having the bike in the living room for some time over the winter and my mates went straight to work.

Once it was inside, I realized how big the bike actually is.

The best thing, however, was watching the people's reaction that step into the room, unaware of what awaits them : )

And well, to be honest, my girlfriend wasn't overly pleased but as she has her own apartment, her opinion didn't matter : )
