Removed the pair valve today. Looks so much cleaner. Oddly enough I still get the burble and what not when I let off the accelerator. Doesn't sound any different. Runs exactly the same, installed all the parts from the kit and blocked off the vacuum line. Oh well, at least it looks good. Next week I'm installing the Mapam forward controls.

Thanks. Now I absolutely have to paint the big chrome covers that sit under the seat. It looks a bit off balance with that big blob of chrome.

Much better, good job. Did you completelly remove the PAIR valve or hide it under the tank? Removed pair valve *pic* 2000 Marauder VZ800Y 3498837457

Looks great mate, I agree about the chrome panels. Your bike should look so cool when its all done.

I am not familiar with that year so excuse my ignorance but is the air filter?

No, the Marauder has two airfilters that are hidden in the body of the bike. The big chrome ham on the side was simply the pair valve. On the opposite side there is just the exhaust pipe coming out.
