| Descent sized covers ain't cheap sadly and that does seem to be a good quality one. That sounds about the right money, I think I paid £30 but I can't for the life of me think where it was from. | |

| Why do you want a cover? your bike sleeps in the garage, why not use an old bed sheet. | |

| Looks like a good price for a large one. I'd say its worth paying for a large one now even if its a little more money. I got a waterproof one to fit the Pan European for £50, and if its big enough to fit that its big enough to fit any other bike I have or will probably get. | |

| At the other end of the range, from time to time Aldi do cheapo ones for much less. I got one... pretty good for what I paid for it. Material seems strong, well elasticated, but just a tad short, so front wheel pokes out. Think mine cost all of about a tenner. Obvioulsy wont be as good quality, but if it's mainly for when your on trips, surely that sort of thing would do. Also the bigger you buy, the more space it takes to carry round, even when rolled up | |

| Agree Mal.... Ian, from the France trip just bought one for £70, however, although he said it was fantastic quality & heat resistant, it takes a whole pannier to fit it in, so he needs to buy another one for trips away! | |

| Now that's a bloody good point....space it takes up. Need to think about this one. | |

| Am I missing something here? When going on a trip, How many people actually cover there bikes up overnight and why? Just curious because unless my bike lived outside I'd never dream of covering it up overnight :what1: | |

| I take a thin, waterproofed one when camping and cover my bike every night. Nothing worse than a wet seat or a pooped on one in the am. The one I have is very small when folded/rolled up and not sold as water proof. I spray stuff on it once a year to keep it waterproof. I use a better quality one at home( in winter) as I keep my bike in a carport lke area and it does dip below freezing at night. I use a picnic blanket over the seat/battery/engine area in an attempt to avoid battery drain due to low temps. I don't know if that's strictly needed, but just in case. | |

| While I was on my trip I covered my trike every night at the hotels. Mostly because it caught less attention covered. I think it made it less inviting for someone to mess with. At home it is in a building. I throw a blanket over it to keep the dust off. The first year I had it I kept it in the carport. That winter some kittens got under the cover and destroyed the rear seat. The cats suddenly disappeared. | |

| Cover mine for them 2 reasons as well.. Attracts less attention (in my opinion) & just to keep the morning dew off.

| Sim, With the UK weather being as is, the last thing I want is to wake up in the morning, get out from hotel and find my bike all wet after rain. Seat (which is now 10 years old) would most likely be soaked like a sponge. And yes, the attention factor. Why leave a shiny chrome beacon like mine on display overnight to tempt people? What eyes don't see, the heart don't desire. | |

| Must be honest here and say that my bike is covered up all the time, even though it is in my workshop. Although to be fair I am usually doing little jobs in there and it stops all the airborne particles from ending up all over my bike. | |
