| So ever since I changed the headlight over to the drag style headlight I haven't been completely happy with it. The reason being is the adapter bracket caused it to stick way out and it looked like something I was trying to make fit as opposed to something that looks like it belongs on the bike. It had really been bothering me. So today I decided to do away with the bracket, drill the bottom triple tree, and change over to a native mount. Looks so much better! After: Before: After no bracket: Bracket before: | |

| Thanks guys. I'm always suprised at how such small mods can make such a big difference to the overall look of a bike. I just can't wait to get these new lowering bobber shocks on the bike tomorrow. | |

| Actually I've thought quite a bit about bobbing out the bike but my girlfriend likes to ride too so I need the back seat. In a couple years after I finish my Ph.D. I'm going to build a bike from the ground up starting with a raw frame. After I do that I'm going to cut the living hell out of the Marauder. I plan on stripping it down to nothing. No fenders, springer seat, mild apes, etc. But until then I want to keep the Marauder a classic style cruiser that fits two. | |
