Installed the new shocks today. They look shit hot. I'm glad I went with the black spring. They resulted iun about an inch drop in height but I think they should drop about another half inch once they break in. The ride is awesome. Ever so slightly stiffer than stock but not uncomfortable at all. I've been able to really lean into the turns and the suspension has held tight. Great upgrade.

Your bike is looking very classy indeed, one to be proud of for sure. The shocks look great and but more importantly I am glad the cornering is good.

Thanks guys. Here's a comparison shot. You can see that there's only about an inch drop right now but like I said, I'm hoping that it'll drop about another half inch or so once the shocks settle in.

It's surprising what such a small change can make to the look isn't it.

The stock shocks really are ugly. Just big chrome tubes. When I got the bike they were the first thing that caught my eye as needing to be changed so it was my first planned mod. It was just hard finding shocks for the Marauder 800 as no one makes them. I just happened to get lucky while doing some research and found these guys on a thread about lowering shocks for a Honda Shadow Spirit 750. I think it makes a huge difference in the over all look of the bike.
