| The bars look good but one thing I noticed is that the bars are very forward, I presume you must be very tall as your arms need to be in a slightly bent and relaxed position? | |

| I guess that's the thing, I'm not the tallest guy in the world and will try to have them in another position. I am not sure, however, if the frontbreak-cable is long enough to support this... | |

| Looking at your pictures the only real issue I can see is the brake hose, I ordered my extended hose from Wezmoto. They are a really good customer focused seller. Here is the Ebay LINK they will add the extra length you require and will do the cables and banjos in a colour of your choice. Never be in a situation where you are reaching for your bars, to have proper control you and your arms should be relaxed and your shoulders should not be pulled forward. Although with that said bars that are rolled forward offer greater comfort if you usually do a lot of higher speed miles as you are leaning into the wind. | |

| One thing I haven't tries is actually losen the hose down there at the front fender, it is held tight in a clamp-thing (is there a word for it???). That would give me plenty of options. | |

yes, It's called a clamp  if you pull the hose from the clamp, the rubber bush that stays around the hose, will actually slide up and down, it will be tight at first though, In all honesty, I'd get a new longer hose though, it looks pretty tight. Sweet looking apes by the way | |

| Don't forget that you have extra hose at the bottom because of the movement in the suspension, you need that where it is. | |

| oh my...so yesterday I tackled my bar again and moved it way more towards me. As the sun eventually came out today, I went for a quick spin...which turned out to be a larger one as I instantly fell in love with the new riding position. It is phenomenally good!
As for the break hose, I will have to go for a longer one, it seems just fine the way it is but I am not quite comfortable with "just fine" when it comes to something as vital as breaks.
Well, long story short, thanks for the input, I am a very happy camper today : ) | |

| I thought that would make a big difference after you had adjusted the bars. At the right height and angle apes are so comfy, with my apes on I am more comfortable than I have ever been on any bike. | |

| Hiya. I have a c800 and I really like the look of the apes you have fitted. Can you tell me how high they are please and did you have to change any cables in the end? | |
