| Hi All and hello from Queensland Australia. I realise that this is supposed to be a UK site but I haven't found one in Aus and most of the US seem to spend more time on Guns and Grid Iron. I think I will feel more at home here. I spend most of the day listening to the BBC Iplayer anyway:-) (Thanks for paying your license fees).
I have an 09 M50, Jardine forward controls, Mustang wide tourer seat, National 2up windscreen with K-drive bags and love the bike.

| Hi & welcome to suzuki800 icetechaus glad you have found & joined us We are a UK based site but are pleased to welcome members from all over the world. As for the license fee, don't get me started on that If you get a chance to post a few pic's of your ride in the showroom section that would be great as it sounds like you got a great bike there. | |

| We are supposedly in high summer here I recon it's probably better in your winter than the cold wet miserable days we're having here at the moment. At least this site cheers us all up when we can't ride! G'day mate and nice to have you on board. | |

I am sitting in my office at the moment and it is around 16 degees C. I went for a ride up the coast early July about 20 bikes, beautiful day thinking this is the middle of winter, why would you live anywhere else. Jeans, Dririder Climate Control Jacket and warm as toast. I can't imagine living somewhere that you have to put you bike away in winter. The biggest problem is summer, Protective gear makes city riding uncomfortable, doesn't stop me though.

Quite a few of us here in Blighty have winter bikes as well. I personally like to ride every day unless it's icy, of course. We get weather too hot for city riding as well believe it or not - we have an interesting topic on gear: LINKYour climate does make us a bit jealous though

| WA is the one state that I have yet to visit. Unfortunately 5 days drive just to get there and the prospect of that much time off these days is a bit foreign. I have to save that one for retirement. Mind you I think I am more inclined to visit your part of the world if I can get enough readies and time and see a bit of history. | |

| Hi Mate, And welcome (Even though I've only just joined myself) Like Mr Intruder said....... In hindsight, your distant relations stealing a loaf of bread or whatever it was was a realy good move for you all these years later! Talking of stealing stuiff....... I looted our local branch or Argos during the riots the other day and I've got 500 catalouges if anyone whats one? |
