| Hi all, Names Mick and I have just bought an M800 2011 after getting loads of points with my Aprilia Tuono 1000. Never ridden a cruiser before and its all a little strange to me, first, where are the brakes??? second, footpegs are in front of my legs, not behind and lastly, why does everybody look at you? Going to ride the big heavy thing some more but first impressions are good. Cheers Mick | |

| Strange is a word I would use as well, ground the pegs out on the first 2 bends and got the giggles, don't think that's supposed to happen! Love the looks though! | |

| Hi Mick, ..... & the world of cruisers .... might take awhile to get used to it ..... but you may find it more reliable than the Tuono. My mate's lad has one (A Mk2 version) & has suffered repeated electrical problems. I ride a mix of bikes ... so all I can say is stick with it ... & Vive la difference ! Cheers Yam | |

| Thanks fellas, never had a problem with Aprilia's, 100% reliability, only big fail was a 99 Blade that the gearbox nuked itself on at 19K, ouch! Going into cruiser ownership with open eyes, as long as you enjoy bikes then its just another chapter as far as I'm concerned, All bikes are good, I've ridden on the road since being 16 and am 50 now so its fair to say I'm hooked, life without a bike is like life without a dog as far as I'm concerned, pointless! | |
