PostSubject: Aye up from Yorkshire!   Wed Jun 18, 2014 11:18 am

Hi the names Dave; although I do go by Idle Jack!  :)

Got back into bikes just over two years ago and the plan was to do the direct access course but the better half, god bless her, thought "hey this could be a mid-life crisis so get something cheap and cheerful to tootle around on; just to make sure"!  Well at 47 years old she could have been right!

Following her sage advice I sold my car and got myself a VL 125; in for a penny in for a pound as they say!

Anyhoo with my 50th looming next I came to the conclusion that after riding the bike for two years, all year round, not so much of a mid-life crisis after all and got my test passed in April this year and traded up to a VL 800!  Should have done it sooner!!

So that's me.  Looking forward to spending time on here, getting to know you guys and hopefully get on a few runs and meet up!
