Just got to fashion a new fibreglass seat pan and cover it. Made the mould out of cardboard!

Sorted the problem of fast flashing indicators with resistors mounted on ally plate.

pic of old fishtail to compare

That is very cool, love the newer slender look. Raising it away from the tyre was a great way of giving a better look. I love the side on and rear look, in fact I love it full stop. Ace job done  lgd

Good job

How do you mount the new seat, do you make a hook underneath like the original seat ?

I was going to try and copy the hooks from original seat and fibreglass a bolt into the back that will locate into the existing hole. Was going to buy a second hand original seat and cut it down but they are going for around £100 and I didn't want to cut mine up because of selling it on.

Gave up on seat. Fiberglass pan came out good and moulded foam ok. Just didn't look right. Ruined look. Original seat looks good for now. Think I will have to wait and purchase proper one for Germany.

Plus I didn't know where to start on the seat cover. Would have looked proper sh*t

Hi Stone,
Maybe Tony Archer could help with the seat - he gets good recommendations & I'm hoping to get over to see him in the not too distant (Work keeps getting in the way).

Hi Stone,
I recently posted a web-link to Tony Archer's website in the 'seats' section of the forum if that helps.
