Polish Nikki11

I just purchased my VL800. I was pretty clean when I got her, but it needed a little TLC. I started with Eagle one never dull (in the can) for all of the chrome pieces, there was slight pitting in the chrome. Overall that did a great job on the chrome.

Then I used Turtle wax Ice liquid synthetic polish. I was a little hesitant because it was expensive. ($16). I was very surprised. Everything I touched with it sparkled. It worked on every surface of the bike, plastic, paint, and chrome. I also used it on the seat, it did not make it slippery, I was amazed. I did not use it on the surfaces that get hot like the exhaust. I am testing it on the bottom of the pipes so make sure there is no color change. I will comment in a week or so after some good heat cycles. And no I dont work for Turtle wax. :-P

We had lots of sunshine yesterday in sunny sunny Cornwall so I went out on the bike, maybe for the last time until next spring.
