 air filters

hi newbie here ardie from londonderry got a2008 vl800 4700mls 2 months ago has cobra pipes and fi2000 processor already on .is it ok to fit k n air filter will be doing oil n filter as well thanks for any feedback.this is an awesome site

Sound, that is the way to go,you already have the pipes and the FI pro,so all you are missing is a K&N air filter.It will let your baby breathe.

to what Alfie said your bike will love you for it lol just remember to set your FI2000 up for the fact that you have K&N filter and after market pipes to get the best out of it

thank you will get a look at this from what the prev owner said u its processor that does it all automatic no need for ajustments. this make any sense to you.bike running good but does backfire .first custom have a bandit and bsa bantam so these things were never encountered.thank you all again for taking time to reply

Yep it makes perfect sense if is a Cobra fi2000 PowrPro, then it's all plug'n'play 

Have a look under the seat to make sure what it is, it's usually placed right next to the battery.

received my new k&N filter two weeks ago and havent had 5 min to install it... its killing me everytime i walk in and see it lying on the kitchen counter... hope to fit it this easter weekend..
