| Hi Ardie, If you go on the Mustang website it gives different parts number for the M800 and VL800, the VL fender has a more arched profile to it than the M, the part numbers are 76590 for the wide touring seats for the M800 and 75810 for the wide touring for the VL800, Can you post a link to the eBay page?. | |

| I bought an M800/VZ800 seat off of a member when he brought one back from holiday in the states, simply because he never realized. Bad for him, great for me, I love my seat. | |

| Looking at it, I'd say no it won't fit, I'm not familiar with mustang seats though so could be wrong? It has no rear fixing point for the riders seat, I'd Email the seller for a better pic of the Mustang sticker on the underside of the riders seat, it'll have the mustang part number on it to identify it better, I've looked on the Mustang website and there's only slight differences in fixing points between the two seats but it's a big gamble for two hundred plus quid. | |

| I have contacted that seller twice, he says he has been told it will fit both models. I have tried to explain that it won't, he is adamant it will. I can't be arsed with banging my head against a wall. I just hope the buyer is one that needs a seat for the right bike, or he will have wished he listened. | |

| I remember Mal coming round here when we were doing some work on his bike and we had a conversation about how the seats differed between his M and my C model, Mainly because I didn't know how to remove the M seat? it was fixed in a different way. | |
