| I went for a blast ride out today and the left mirror started to rotate towards me, the arm did not move just the mirror but I cannot see anyway of tightening it, any ideas? | |

| Can your put a few drops of thread lock around the ball and work it in? when it sets it might stiffen it up a bit? | |

| I did think of that, I suppose if I add it and then go for a slow ride to make sure the mirror is in the correct position, if it then sets to hard and stops it from moving totally it would not matter, just checked online £40+ new each, ouch. | |

| Mine used to do that at about 80. Did not like the vibes at that speed so it was a way I knew to slow down! | |

| Stock mirrors are non adjustable Sims idea sounds like a bloody good on. I would never of thought of that but if your going to do that clean the ball & joint properly. Take the mirror off and turn it upside down while using a cleaning fluid or spray, that should help it clean it out properly as it will be greasy & thread lock won't like that. | |

| If you haven't got thread lock, I wonder if a drop of clear bathroom silicone sealant would do the trick? | |

| Blue tack or sticky back plastic should sort the job out, failing that I would use Bubble gum Glad its sorted Andrew | |
