It took me about 3 hours to install. 1 of those hours was just figuring out what I needed and what I didn't. Figured out that ThunderMFG supplied the bracket, and mounting bolts, and gaskets. Very easy to install after working through what I needed. Here are some pics:

Snipped the vacuum tube and had to put in a T-Tap to activate the Butterfly valves.

T-Tapped tube. I couldn't quite get the existing hose over the plug, it was far too tight. So I got it as far as it could go and then Cable tied it.
It will hold. It should hold :P

Installed. Soz about the flash dazzle.

That's all the photos I have for now. I took a bigass video and put it on FB to highlight it. I'll get more photos of the whole thing later.

I really wish they made some type of adaptor kit or that this could be adapted to fit on a Marauder. I love the look of these and REALLY want one!

American Jambo, they ThunderMFG make the adaptors for different bikes.

Is this your model?

Seriously thinking about getting one of these really soon, but, is it worth it? was there noticeable improvement in power?
I am also thinking of getting V&H slashcuts and a power commander at the same time too, can anyone tell me if this will just improve HP a little or a lot?

I have the Thunder Hurricane. As well as my pipes, Power Commander and TRE (not sure if that effects power or just throttle response) I gained 7 bhp and 6 Lb ft of torque. Sounds a small gain but when you consider the stock power of these bikes it's over 10%. I've seen a significant difference from stock.

help please?!
I have just ordered the Thunder Mfg kit with adaptor and Kuryakyn hypercharger, and as there was an option for Suzuki M50 but didn't mention age, I just ordered it.
I have now just thought, mine is an M800 2012 model, and am now panicking that this will only fit the 2009 and earlier.
Does anyone know if this fits either? or am I gonna have a problem.
Help?

Ash
If the parts you have ordered are sold as suitable for an M50 upto 2009, then they are definitely suitable for your model & year. Reason being there has been no change to the air cleaner outlet tube or any other items in that area on later models.

Thanks for the excellent pictures on this thread ! They helped me greatly yesterday, when I installed my hypercharger with ThunderMFG adapter.

One question for those who used the thunder-adapter. I noticed, that the intake air temperature sensor has the connector, which sticks back so far out, that it almost touches the front cylinder. So did you do anything about it?
I feel, that it seems like an accident awaiting to happen, probably melts someday from the heat of the cylinder, so maybe removing the connector, and soldering the cable straight on to adapter, maybe there's no need for connector there?
