| Hi everyone, I need to get new tyres mine are shot to bits wont be long till wire starts to show on the front one hehehe.
So I've seen two that I might get has anyone else fitted either of these if so can you give feedback about them? The tyres I have been looking at are
MICHILIN COMANDER (two, one or whatever it is) OR AVON COBRA (either normal or white wall) Any feed back is much appreciated | |

| Hi Morgan, I've has Avon Venom R tyres on my F6C (Valkyrie) and they have been great - run quieter than original Dunlops and last longer too, with better steering response and generally a good all-round tyre. I think the Cobra is a development from the Venom - so I'd probably look at them next time. Not sure of Michelin Commander - but I have Michelin Road Pilot 3 tyres on the VX800 & they too seem a good all round tyre. Doesn't directly answer tyou question - but might help a little ! Yam | |

| I can not help either as I have just fitted a new pair of Avon Storm 3D X-M tyres, which I have only done about 150miles on, but they are better than the ones were on it (Pirellis I think?). | |

| Both good quality brands, I'd edge on the Cobra's, fitted them on Worthy's 800 and they felt good pretty picture of a Cobra on the side too | |

| well thanks for the input guy's. Yam cool I've had Avon venoms on a vs750 they where the nuts and gripped the road like shit to a blanket as they say very gripy so if the Cobra is the next one up, improved tyre then they should be great it's the grip that really interest's me as I like to lean my bike over in the bend's. Thanks V-twin any input is useful. Sim haha yeh we all like a nice picture to look at hehe. I have had Michelin road pilots 3 before yes very very good grip, grip extremely well in the dry or wet and heat up very quickly feel like there ready for use after half a kilometre great tyres. Hhhhrrmmmmm well think I'll try to read up on them both before I chose but if I go for cobra's errrmmm normal or white wall? Decisions decisions lol would the white walls look nice? My bike has got the white stripe down the middle of the tank if I post a pic of my bike up could anyone photo shop it to see what white walls look like? Well I'm gunna order tyres Monday or Tuesday and get them fitted next week white wall or not what do you guys think? | |
