| I have been frezing my hands of here in the spring, but am too cheap to fork out the money for a pair of Warmthru gloves. And have been getting along with some small Heat Pax 8hour hand varmers. So I went on the big shop and saw these: USB powered heating hand warmersAt the price of $4 I bought a pair, and they arrived today. The heating element is just velcroed to the inside, and makes it easy to just stuff it down the motorcycle glove. When powered from my laptop, the elements get about 40 degrees Celsius. I'm going to power them from a 5v power supply, and see how much current they draw. |

Me too But the theory of both the Heat Pax disposable warmers and these, is that they are placed on the top of the hand, thus warming the blood going to the fingers, not the fingers themselves. |

| Actually yes I think they would be, that would help keep your hands much warmer and generate the heat out. |

| That would defo help putting them in the palm bit, that would raise the temperature of your hands rather than keep some cold off |
