| I have bought some cheap leather lookalike saddlebags, and want a quick release saddlebag bracket, because I dont like the look of the normal saddlebag mounts, when the bags are not mounted.
I have found the Easy Brackets and they look very nice and sturdy, but I cant find them anywhere but in USA.
Does anybody know of any alternatives, and perhaps a bit cheaper if possible ?

| I use Saddlemans S4 Quick disconnect on my VZ800. they can be used with their bags or with any rigid back bag.. not too pricy either. | |

| Don't you still need the bag bars/mount when using the this system ? | |

| Don't know how quick a system you want, but on mine I devised a system which means the bags can be removed in about 1 minute. And certainly cheaper than big quick release brackets. I would only suggest this on a bag that locks... Here's my write up from another part of this forum. Good luck whatever you decide. Linky | |

| Thx for the suggestions, but I don't want to have the support brackets on the bike when not using the bags.
So far I have still only found the Easy brackets and Edge brackets which only leave a small stud on the bike, when no bags are attached.
I will most likely order the Easy brackets version, as it look much sturdier being made of one piece of steel.

| That looks really pukka! 5 minutes to change the fender bolts! They must have been on and off a good few times with your extensive redesign! They're often a right bastard.... | |

| Finally mounted the bags the the brackets, and now I'm all ready to go camping I made a 6mm plywood board painted black to go inside the bags to reinforce them. Unfortunately I manage to break one of the keys in the mounting process, and I hope I can get an extra one made. | |
