| John forgive me for saying this but think about it ok please! The weight of the box empty may be ok for the rack to carry BUT if you carry anything heavier then I'd be thinking of some additional struts from the rear sissy bar bolt fixing point to the rear of the box so you are triangulating the weight & making it a hell of a lot safer to boot! | |

Thanks Peter, I see what you mean but its not going to be a problem as its only there to store my helmet when I'm out, I can still chain the helmet to the bike and store my coat in it too if its really hot. | |
