Got mine rom Metric Cruisers Pete, easy to fit & do the job perfectly. I was the guinea pig for them for the 2010 on models as they are as with other models only marked up as being fittable to pre 09 models only FFS!

I think I've said this before to Sim & Mick when we met that the easiest way to put hand rails on your bike is to simply turn the pannier frames upside down & voila you have hand rails! Just need longer bolt that's all.

Hi Justin I've offered to buy a bike for the other half but she refused she had her own bike for years when we first married but that was for financial reasons like commuting to work, took ages to get her on the back of mine which she does enjoy now.

Hi Barney air filter was bought off Sim they come as a pair for the 1800 from China, so i got his spare one but had to get carbs re jetted, think yours would require a fuel processor like the cobra or healthcheck.

Your bike does look amazing. Only just bought my vl800. First bike as just passed my test in July. Too soon to be getting into majorish mods. My machine needs some tlc work over the winter.  Thanks for the info though.

Hi Terence, they have them on eBay £59.95
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SUZUKI-VL800-VL-800-VOLUSIA-INTRUDER-CHROME-PASSENGER-GRIP-HANDLE-GRAB-RAILS-/111722764288?hash=item1a03321800
or like Peter said you could use saddle bag supports turned upside down (thinner though) £48.00 less 10%
