| I'm thinking of fitting one of these: Is it easy to fit the relay that comes with it? and where is the stock horn located on the bike (M800), any other advise welcome. | |

| Good luck with the mod.... I switched my horn a while back.... Could barely reach the wires to pull them off (just spade connectors) so obviously left original horn in situ but 'dead'. And yes, mine is the m800, and the horn is behind the rad. | |

| I've just read that Nippy Normans the BMW parts seller has new stocks of the Stebel 139db horn for sale at about £50-. I'll see if I can find the proper link later ok? | |

| Don't forget to fit a relay or you'll melt your horn switch - resulting in you having to replace the whole switchgear assembly. | |

| Mine arrived yesterday, any pointers on where to fit it!! I know the norm is the top frame bolt on the left side but I cant due to massive engine guard any other options before I start making plates up. thanks | |

| I'd accept that you're going to need to knock up a basic bracket to fit where you said Justin, - unfortunately, it's the best location for routing the cables & picking up a feed from the existing horn. All you need is a piece of flat steel about 1" x 3" " /> | |

| Thanks Dave, that's what I thought. Did you run the neg back to the battery or just used a o connector and put it behind the screw going into the frame? the existing horns didn't have a neg terminal the connection to the frame acted as the earth. | |

| I ran it directly to the battery as mine came with heavy gauge wire | |
