PostSubject: Hi from Sunny France.   Sat Nov 07, 2015 3:26 pm

Been 'lurking' on the forum for a short while, reading up on various threads and thought it was time I introduced myself.

I'm English but had lived in France for over 14 years.

I'm retired as in pretty old

I bought my current bike 2013 Intruder C800 following the discovery, after a knee replacement, that I wasn't comfortable on my previous bike (Couldn't get the knee bend it needed)

So far I am very pleased with it. It suits my 6'1" frame and the 'feet-forward' makes it very comfortable to ride.

It came with all sorts of accessories but as I don't carry passengers the rear rack, seat and 'Sissy-bar' have been replaced with just an 'over-mudguard' rack.

Regards

Gary.

Yes I saw the thread. Granville and Deauville are beautiful as is most of the coast around there. St Michel is a lump of rock at the end of a causeway. You need to pretty fit to explore the monastery.

I am part of a group of 'expats' (Tourdregs Club Moto) who regularly tour all over France, Spain etc.

Thanks for the welcome guys.

Welcome on board Gary - nice colour combo.  Looks good without the pillion seat as well - if you don't need it, don't bother
