| V&H Cruzers or Slash Cut Staggered both give a good sound. 10% off here www.metriccruisers.co.uk/ if you mention you're a Suzuki800.com member. | |

| Recently just purchased the V&H staggered slashcuts (and from the same site Simbo has previously mentioned). Easy to install and Lambda ports already fitted. Couldnt recommend the pipes enough. The guy I spoke to on the phone was really helpful as well. | |

| thanks chris . what do they sound like and did you need to use a power commander or does it run nicely just installing the new pipes. and did you have to pay extra for the lambda sensor bosses to be fitted.. sorry for so many questions | |

| Hi, They are loud! That's the main reason I got them. There are several clips on YouTube if you search for 'm800 Vance and Hines staggered slashcut', the clips on there show the matte black pipes, I got the chrome set, but the matte black ones are impressive. Buying them from metriccruisers, the lambda sensor bosses came already fitted. All I had to invest in was a Lambda plug, as my bike only has one sensor. If you have the 2011 m800, I'm guessing your bike has two and therefore that's not a problem. The only minor issue I have at the moment is a bit of backfire when easing off the throttle. If that's a problem you experience, if you end up purchasing, I posted a thread here and there's a way to block off the PAIR valve, recommended by another member, which seems easy enough to do (this is my job for this weekend) Hope this helps. Good choice. Great sound. You might need to be careful with your boots as they get hot, being single walled. I melted my rubber on the chrome several times so I installed a curved heat shield - I think there's a thread on here somewhere. Without baffles they were the loudest in Swansea! With - a lovely crack when blipping the throttle. | |

| Cheers John. Im getting a heat shield from there. I read your thread about it. Also getting...hh quiet baffle which should keep the thump sound and remove the rasp.. Cant wait to get them. Fair play this site is awesome and full of decent people. Will be the loudest in Tredegar now lol. Ride safe | |

| Take off the top muffler then the other pipework can come off in one piece. The Suzuki bracket is huge - once that's off the new HH one is much lighter. Then fitting the short cuts is easy. When you have run them with baffles in (loud) try them without just for fun (OMG!) Enjoy. | |

| Pipes are finally on , look and sound amazing , although hh hadn't tapped out the bracket for it to bolt on ,, that was a good hour of cursing lol, and no instructions either. Any how sprayed the inside with vht paint to help with blueing, all fitted and on to my luggage rails. Bolts not long enough arrrrrrrrrr. More cursing, lol . Bought bolts and sorted that,,,,,,, now onto my vista cruise control, its got a 50\50 chance of fitting,,, o yeah. Straight on easy as pie and works spot on just take the time to fit it true and adjust it properly. One happy magic, O yeah pipes get super hot . Looking for curved guards like bluesman said... Cheers john for your input so far. Will try and add some pics | |
