| So, the missus liked the idea of adding some night-time flare, and additional visibility to the bike, and I had a $20 gift bonus at the local Autozone store; this is what I came up with. I wired everything in by cutting a hole in the fuse box cover, and neatly installing a switch to turn the lights off during the day. I was even able to find a red lighted switch as you can see, but the only place I could find to attach the lights was on the frame rail, just inside the mufflers, and so far they're fine, but wiring them underneath everything where they would remain safe was a little tricky. She wanted them to reflect on the road at night, so I was very limited on where they would properly adhere, plus I had to put them in an area where the bike lift wouldn't smash them when I have to raise the bike. All in all any easy addition, and the wife loves them. | |
