| Hi all. After a bit of a spill ,my stock headlight got a bit chewed up, I will have to get a new front for it (how much!!!),but am thinking of filling the damage to the bucket and getting a carbon hydrodip done on it.Anyone had experience with this? Thoughts on how a carbon & chrome headlight would look. | |

| Dunno how they may look together- but I was chatting to a bloke at our local bike meeting place. He'd had his tank, tail, side panels and mudguard hydro dipped along with a couple of coats of lacquer. It looked superb, felt as smooth as silk and according to the bloke (who has some previous experience of hydro dipped bits) is longer lasting and harder wearing than traditional spray /powder coating methods. I'll probably look at getting bits on the Bandit dipped (after Ricks finished sliding it about race tracks)! | |

| From what Ive seen on the tv, its a fairly thin film, so the finish is only as good as whats underneath, so you will want to fill any deep scratches, sand it etc. | |
