| wow guys thanks, you guys rock! so I didn't get to start last night because I ended up passing out lol. but today is game time, I just tore out an old led light kit and now I'm working on getting the radiator off, which is giving me a little more trouble than anticipated due to two bolts at the top that make a hinge like bracket and I cant seem to get in there to\ losen those bolts, so rite now it will swing forward and back freely. I think I may need to take off the neck plates on both side not sure the name so here is a description to give you a better image directly above the radiator and behind the forks..... also I could not find the bolt to drain the fluid! so I have draing it threw the hoses so far, anyone know where the hell that drain bolt is?? thanks guys. and if there is anything I am doing wrong please let me know bring on the criticism! | |

| Welcome on board Johnny - be interested to see your progress on your ride. Like you, I came from a Katana - an '83 model
If your VS is the same as the VL, there is no actual drain plug, you have to drain the rad by undoing the hoses at he bottom of the rad

No chap - I dropped the rad to fit a temperature sender, but I had no need to drop the fan
