 FI tuner and/or X-tre

Hey folks, 

Just looking at getting a Healtech FI tuner.
The bike is standard at the minute, but won't be for long. 
Planning on K&N air filter and new exhausts in the not so distant future. 

But I've just seen a post about the X-Tre system. Is the same sort of thing as the FI pro? Or something to be used in addition to?

X-Tre removes rev limit. Makes for taller low gears and smoother top end. A bit fiddly to fit but made quite a difference to my 800. The F1 optimises fueling when you upgrade both pipes and filter - not cheap mind! My bike had X-Tre, stock filter, gutted stock pipes and no fuel processor. Went like a good'n!

Well according to Healtech the FI tuner is not compatible with my bike!!

Well that scuppered that idea. I guess X-the and no new air filter, or no new exhaust. 
(Well maybe new air filter, then exhaust and remove the air filter! Lol)
