| Hello, so i finally got started with my bobber build, havent done much. So far just striped it down a bit and installed new blinkers and headlight Tought about leaving the original seat pan with as little foam on it as possible and add gel to it later. Looked at it and said to my self "Sh*t, i need a spring saddle" - so this is what happened next: i also got a new rear fender for choping and new noname pipes: Alot of things need to be done new handlebars ( a few pictures up - side picture of bike - you can see the prototype of my new handlebars that i made) saddle fixing points and gel+leather chop the rear and front fender new electric loom, i got a motogadget programmable computer for running all my ligths and electyronics new upper fork plate thingy to witch the handlebar bolts on new brakelines repaint everything includign pipes+engine. | |

| great look, look forward to seeing the build, just done a similar build and love the finished effect.
I have the chrome version of the pipes, they are LOUD. And check your baffle has wadding as mine come without. Not that it makes much difference!

| Hello, thanks for replys guys. I had a try with google sketchup and modeled a 3 switch cluster for 1inch bar. I got original motogadget's housing but did'nt like the idea of 1 switch facing towards the front of the bike. So i made a 3d file and my co-worker has a 3d printer add those up and you get this: Its made out of PLA and as you can see it needs a bit work to get it smooth and im really surprised how strong that stuff is. You really cant bend / brake it with bare hands. This is what i generated from sketchup: A bit offtopic too: Can anyone tell me why the hell cant i see any pictures posted in other posts and topics from users? I mean i can read the text and everything but where should be a picture is just blank black space, nohting. I really want to see others at work but cant see sh*t. Thanks in advance! | |

I really want to see others at work but cant see sh*t. Thanks in advance! It's probably because they were originally uploaded through photobucket which has now gone kaput through sheer greed.

| Hello, as you all have noticed that i'm shit at updating my bike build. But, today i got the time and here goes. I have done alot of stuff: Rear fender welded + brake lights Seat spring mountings welded Exhaust mountings done Got the plate for mounting the handlebar risers The saddle is 90% complete, just needs a trim piece around it Everything is torn apart Motor before and after painting. The side covers will be painted but not black, thats why they are still somewhat chrome. There is actually a ton of work done but doesnt seem much Heres allmost all the parts painted Got the tank sandblasted and i didnt like what i saw: This is the color combo i went with Got the rear shocks assembled again Untill next time when i hope to show you guys how it sits all together, i have a picture of it but without the paint so no go for now | |

| So, i got a lot of work done over the last few days. Not a lot of pics to show but one what i took when i pushed it outside to see the "glitter" in the sun But it looks like yellow kind of mustardish on pictures. i tired to capture the flake in the sun but it just wont show on picture. Aaaanyslut, i will get it to electrician tomorrow. I have never used motogadget m-unit so i decided to trust someone who knows what he is doing instead of doing it yourself. Will update when i get it fully composed, maybe a video for how the new pipes sound (did a lollipop with valve action). | |
