| I'm pretty new (well that's a lie - I am new) to playing about with my bike and I want to convert it to a single seat. I have seen this on google images and was wondering (small chance granted) if anyone knows how this was done. I have tried my best to find a rear fender and single seat kit but not been able to find anything to date. Hope someone can help - thanks, Steve | |

| If your seat is the same as it was on my m800, it's in 2 parts anyway, so the pillion seat is easily removed. Snag is, you've then got the fugly fixings on view in the rear fender. Pic above isn't too clear, but it doesn't look like a stock fender. Maybe they just removed all the pillion fixings, chopped it back, filled and sprayed?
Maybe you could get a spare rear fender off a scrapper and chop that! Then if it goes horribly wrong, you've still got your original on the bike :)

Just taken it apart and it seems there is quite a bit of room to play with - potential to bastardise the seat and it may work. Deffo a good idea you put forward though. Cheers for the pointer :)
