First time I have seen that suggested & I really like it. Maybe drop down in size on the number plate as well.

I agree looks really good Peter, it will be interesting to see this unfold with pictures and a step by step write up I hope

Go for a single layer reg plate to expose more rear

If you look at my tail light mod, you can see i'v a small plate (5×7) so im thinking if i mount it on a 45 angle (or more), from behind it will apear small !!!!!

yea I like it Ive had no probs with the old bill but some of my mates have, however thay are on crotch rockets.

How about a side mounted plate and tail/brake light? Would definately give another look to the bike.
