| When I bought my bike. It was missing the right side floorboard rubber pad. I deceided to use Aluminum diamond plate to replace the rubber. I first made a template. I cut the Aluminum using multiple tools, Dremel, grinder, sander file . I checked the fitment. I wanted them to be black, so I used truck spray-in bedliner in a spray can. It is satin black and should hold better than paint. It is also gritty, so that should help with traction. I will let you know how the hold up. -Tim | |

| Neat work, looks great. Are they slippery compared to the rubber? Especially if they get wet? | |

| I havent had a chance to wet test them in the rain. But I did hose them down yesterday when washing the bike and they seemed to work ok. However, the original rubber did stand up much higher than the chrome edges on floorboards. The chrome is slippery. So since the diamond plate is not quite so tall they have reduced the grip factor.
