| So today I finally got to ride my bike with the new backrest fitted, to cut a short story long........I decided to get a riders backrest for my C800 but was having trouble getting one in the UK so I took a chance and got one off fleabay stateside, cost was £53 including shipping, when it arrived I was not impressed with the cover as it was not well shaped and the vinyl cover was cheap, so I complained to seller and got a discount/ refund of about £15. Went to local chap who does great work upholstering seats etc and he made a new pad/cover for £25 which now looks great, so for a reasonable cost and a bit of faffing about I now have a really nice riders backrest for a fair cost and it really is comfy to use. | |

| Oh boy what a pain sadly :shithhappens: but thankfully you got there in the end. I would like a riders back rest but It will be a dear job for me as I stupidly bought a Highway hawk sissy bar, which I really don't like all that much but need on, but I want everything to match so it'll have to wait for a while for me! | |
