| Always been paranoid about visibilty on bikes, generally they have an almost zero side on profile in the dark. In the past I've always fitted little side lights on plastic fairings, not so easy on this beast. I've been toying with some sort of light on my saddle bags but didn't want the hassle of wiring anything as the are removable. Anyway, I grabbed a couple of my 'Frog' lights of my pushbikes and put them on the straps of the bags to get an idea of lighting, bugger me they work great. Makes the back of the bike look about 3 feet wide. Batteries last about 100 hours and they are so cheap if the get pinched or fall off there is no problem. As for the rest, my daughter has ordered me some of these LED Screws for the number plate and I'll fit a couple of these inside the chrome bit inbetween the indicators under the headlight. They will give the underside of the headlight and the crashbar etc a purple glow. Pictures so far are crappy, but you'll get the idea. | |

| Fitted the LEDs inside the chrome cover under the headlight. They are well hidden so there is no direct light. They give a difused light out the sides and reflect of the headlight and forks facing forward. Very subtle but enough to raise the side on profile of the bike and stand out amongst the car headlights. | |

Won't be going overboard. Number Plate lights when they arrive and maybe a lightbar in the future.

| There is a bit of a gap between the headlight lens assembly and the surround, it would be interesting to see how much coloured light would bleed out around the headlight. | |

| If you have upgraded your headlamp bulb to a higher wattage or whiter light the angel eye effect is not as good, most ordinary bulbs glow yellow, were as upgrades usually glow blue or white. | |

I'm talking about a coloured light inside the headlight bucket...how much light would show around the headlight.

| Brian if your talking about a light being hidden within the headlight bucket to send an ambient light through the gap between the light and the bucket then the answer is that any light emitted is negligible due to the intensity of the headlight drowning it out. I did try this myself when I fitted my LED's a while back. I found the only way was to have the lights placed directly in the gap so that you could actually see the light source and I wasn't over keen on the result. | |

| for visability i used some hi viz sticky back on the back and sides of my saddle bags before it comes in a4 sheet size and you just cut it to what ever shape or size you want, comes in black colour aswell so blends in to the black of the bags nicely, also ok on my black helmet, got ot off ebay £12 per sheet | |

| I like the fact that it comes in a sheet because as you say it can be cut to conform to shapes which is soooo much better than just popping a precut oblong on which I guess wood encourage more use and higher visibility | |
