* Cheap Electronic Tacho *

I just made a couple calls and spoke with a co-worker.  Yes a Tach adapter is needed for 2007 C50.
He suggested buying a Baron tach because it has the adapter included or if you want purchase the drag adapter (cheaper) (The part number you listed seems right.. but as an alternative you can use Drag Specialties 2211-0052 but not recommended)

No Problem. I believe Mr. Intruder has a Baron Tach that he's no longer using. Perhaps you can persuade him to part with it and a reasonable price.

It is very tempting, but my resources are limited and I have to focus in the new battery at this time to finish some electric project, so I think I can try to buy a tachometer in a few months, if there is some available then
