| Since spotting the following picture, I am now thinking about spraying my headlight bucket black. I wanted to throw this out to you guys though before I commit to the spray can, I won't be going gold as well like in the picture, I will stay with my chrome! Its not the best picture as such because the bike is blue with a black headlight but I am sure you get the gist. Comments really needed as I am not 100% sure, so what do you think?

| I think it would look cool, I like bits of the bike blacked out, with a few highlights of chrome, rather than lots and lots of chrome and bling. I think it will compliment the chrome decals you have on the tank and front mudguard. If you have a lightbar I would do the others black too, maybe even the indicator housings aswell | |

| I like the chrome headlight on the C800 and if I had the M800 I'd probably put one on that as well, but saying that I like the satin black parts on Oldfarts C800 they look good, If I was to do the headlight housing black I'd try with silk emulsion or similar first then if I didn't like it I could wash it off easily under hot water and go back to chrome. | |

| I like it in black.... but not the gold bits. Good idea to do a temporary job to see how it goes before committing. I might try it as well. | |

| I agree with Bunso, it would look cool. I do think its a good idea to do a mock up if your not 100% sure though, good idea Simbo I think it's easy enough to look at the picture and visualise it as a black bike and the gold as chrome. No need to think about it, just go for it. You know your gunna any way | |

| wont be as good as painting but to give you an idear you could just wrap black electric tape round it and see what you think from 10 feet away should give you the rough jist of what it would look like . i to am thinking of going black on bits of the front of my bike but i'll save it till saturday give me something to talk about and get others feed back | |

| Yeah seems like I am doing a reversal BUT,,,,,,,,
I think that the headlight is not a pretty site, to me it's just a big round shiny thing that isn't very pleasing on the eye. What I am thinking is by spraying the bucket black it will actually highlight the remaining chromed section. So it would actually make the chrome that is left really stand out, so less chrome but more effect.

Yep, thats what I think too. The mock up looks good to me, I'd go for it! Looks great with the indicator housings done too, especially as you have clear lenses

| Good bit of work there Brian, I think it does make the front of the headlight stand out, go for it Mr I that looks very good. I can see what you mean about the headlight, because it is featurless it is just a big blob that needs polishing, your spot on me thinks, go for it and spray that bucket | |
