My new ride .......... 2008 VZ800 Intruder M800 K8

2008 VZ800 Intruder M800 K8. My first non sports bike and how much did I enjoy the ride home...not a single aching joint !

Thank you Mr Intruder. I have to say I am suitably impressed. I found myself enjoying riding more than I have for a while. My knees and ankle didn't ache, I could see so much more and made the same rate of progree down one of my favourite roads as I did previously. There's a bit of a mind shift requiired and riding with a pillion was notably different but after all's said and done it was so much fun. Why didn't I go cruiser earlier !!!

Nice looking ride Ian,they do look mean in black,a nice statement.Look for some clear indicator lens with chrome bulbs,certainly sets them off better.

Good thinking Alfie. I think the first addition needs to be a sissy bar to keep herself happy and reduce the headbutting. Following that the lambda sensor will be refitted, heated grips are a must and then a screen and luggage. I'm loving this bike and can't understand why it's taken me so long to realise this is the way to go. It'll make the RTTW run in October a lot more enjoyable and I can't wait for next summers touring.

Ian800 , we have come the same road methinks. I am SO OVER my GSXR1000 and completely in love with my ( much older ) VZ800.

I still own a Triumph Tiger 1050 , I need to confess , but if you forced me onto ONE steed , the VZ800 will be my choice.
