| Hi i want to fit my lambda sensor to my after market pipes as ther is no fitment for it in the pipes i am gonna make a boss for one and weld it to pipes but i cannot find the size of the thread on the sensor, i have measured it with all thread gauges but the thread length is to small get get one on properly, i am guessing a BSP or BSF but not sure, if anyone knows for certain please help | |

| Hopefully someone else will chip in with this one as I have no knowledge of the threads. Are you really set on fitting the o2 sensors? The other option would be to follow the O2 sensor wire back inside the side panel and disconnect it. You would then either have to fit an o2 sensor eliminator, which is just a small plug or Snip wire #23 at the ECU and seal the ends, very easy. | |

| For the sake of a few quid, you can buy a boss on line ready to tig weld on. | |

| I have fitted 2x sensors to mine its the same thread as a front wheel nut off a small 250 take the sensor down to your cheap back street bike garage and ask them if they have a front crown wheel nut same thread. then if you drill the hole so just the crown fits in it gives it a better hold when welded. | |

Now there's a quick bit of handy thinking outside the box | |
