| Tonight I ordered one of these from over in the USA, with all the reading of too much air losing low down torque and raising the power to the upper rev range I thought it would be the best option for me, Then I can play around a little to get the best of both worlds without having to get dyno time to sort a balance out between torque low down and top end performance. From all the reviews I've read they're good, but I'll do a review when it arrive's for anyone else who's in two minds. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/310405064791?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 yes I know theyain't cheap but the fuckaboutabilility could prove priceless long term. | |

| I will be interested to see what you think as I will be upgrading to one of those soon myself. Don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong with what I have at present but it will mean I can keep changing things and know I will always be running at peak performance. | |

| That is a lot of money but it isn't whenyou think about how much people can spend on other units and then getting them set up on rolloing roads. | |

I have just installed the Fi2000 on My C50 Lehman Trike. Also installed The K&N filter. Drilled the baffle plate with 8 1/2 inch holes. It runns like a totally different Bike. More go in all gears. top end I let off at 90 MPH. that was all I wanted. Don't normally ride that fast but wanted to run all gears. Very satisfied. it no longer has that underpowered feeling Dave Proudtexson

| My trike catches a lot of wind. It felt a little underpowered in the west Texas wind sometime. I have added a Bat wing Fairing. I have the MS lower mounted below it. Do not get much buffeting. My daughter gave the Fi2000 for Christmas. I am retired and could never afford myself. Really am very satisfied. I know you will like what they do. WARNING: I have numerous scraps and bruises from install. Had tank propped up to connect the fuel line and wiring. it fell on my hand. I said OUCH. MAYBE I said a little more. I was by myself so can't anyone prove it. LOL Good Luck Dave Proudtexson | |

| I've just fitted one of these. Wasn't all plain sailing.
Cobra didn't list one for my specific bike so I took a punt and got one that seemed closest. How different can each year be, right? Well when it showed up the connectors wouldn't fit the injectors - Bugger!
Not sure if Cobra put the wrong unit in the box as my injector connections look like the same as all the manuals over the years show.
Couldn't be bothered with the hassle of sending it back so decided to make it work. Purchased 4 sets of suitable connectors. Added 2 sets of extra connectors to the original harness then changed the connectors on the unit.
Plugged it all in and it works perfectly.
Bike just seems to run so much better and easier. It won't be smoking tyres or popping wheelies but it certainly gets up to speed quicker and no more lugging up hills.
Have only used one tank of fuel so far and was expecting slightly poorer fuel consumption due to riding a bit harder (test purposes) but was pleasantly surprised to find that it may have improved - definitely no worse anyway.

It's quite worrying that they sent the wrong unit Glad you found a way round it though On the Cobra site, It lists for models from 05 to 08 then 09 onwards plus a model for use in California,

Their site lists the Fi2000 PowrPro Tuner for M50 models from 05 to 08 for the 09 model they only have the FI2000 Tri Pot. the powrpro is available for the 09 C50. Nothing is listed for C/M50 models after 09. As my model wasn't listed I doubt I would have had a leg to stand on if I tried to return it. As the only connections are to the injectors and ground it wasn't a hard or expensive decision to "make it work" - and it does. I'm happy enough with the result. Challenges are always good even if you don't realise it at the time. Anyway time to

| Out of curiosity, which part number did you order ? I've ordered 92-1827AT for the 09 C50 and would have thought the 2010 M50 would have the same injector connectors but could be wrong ? | |

| Sim the hardest part was the front injector. I hope it improves yours as much as it did mine. Took a ride for about an hour yesterday and it is such a pleasure to ride. We had winds here today with gust to 50 mph. I don't know how many K's that is. Good luck my friend. Tex | |

| * Install Instructions *
I fitted the Cobra PowerPro today and I've got to say it was easy enough First I removed the seats and tank which exposes the parts required for fitting, The unit only comes with 4 connectors and an earth lead, First, take of the front cylinder 2 pin female connector plugged in to the fuel injector Then plug the female connector onto the injector and plug the male connector into the original female connector Do the same on the rear injector (shorter wires) then route the wires back to the battery area where the unit sits under the seat, the instructions say to feed the connectors through the centre of the frame under this bracket, I found it easier to remove the bracket then refit it after I'd positioned and zip tied the wires where they were going. then connect to the earth terminal on the battery, Then replace the tank, turn ignition on and the units led flashes a few times before going off, fire the bike up and the led stays on constant, put the seat back on then off for a quick spin, at first the bike felt a bit lumpy with an irregular idle speed but once I'd done a couple of hundred yards all was normal, The bike seemed to pull a lot better and be more responsive and also felt smoother, I only managed a couple of miles so I'll reserve judgement and a review until I've had a proper hour or so on the bike.

| The controller does not have a memory so every time you start it will take a little while to relearn. I hope you find it as enjoyable to ride as I do mine. I had never noticed you could take that bracket off below the tank. I can see where that would make it easier to run wiring. | |

| We had a couple of hours on the bike today, (brrr) Bike started fine but tickover was a little rough ? when we set off it sorted itself over about hundred yards, Then all was good! Throttle response was perfect! pulls a lot better than before in any gear and at any revs, It feels like a different bike! smoother too. I can't say if It's better or worse than Healtech's or power commander's processors? but when we get together this year we can swap and do a comparison. | |
