| Hi
Surfing this forum I found this "Timing Retard Eliminator (TRE)" mod, since It was first time I've heard about this I've done some google-ing and I want to to this. Search on this forum did not give me any results.
So I have one question just for conformation. I need to trick ECU to think that is in 4th gear all the time except in neutral? Is this correct for M800 2005?
I will base my TRE on this one. (just find out that i cant post links for 7 days :() i will be posting link in 6 days :)

| Gad I have just been reading up on making a TRE and it seems to be easy for people that know what they are doing. The issue as I see it is knowing what the OHM value of the suzuki 800 is in the 4th gear position.
As you can see different suzuki's have different OHM values for 4th gear on different bikes
15k ohm resistor for 1000/ TLR. 6.8k ohm resistor for 600/750 & Busa's. 2.7k ohm resister for 1000 vstorm
Here is a link to a Vstorm page that shows how it is done LINK | |

| just came from garage. m800 in 4th gear is 2.7k. But as I see all schematics are missing blue wire witch is 12V. will post later when i see what I think is missing. | |

| This is very interesting, I would never have thought of making these but it would seem they are very easy to put together when you know what you need. Nice thread Gad. | |

| After sobering up :) I decided to put 4 pole DIP switch, so if something go wrong with transistor or resistor I could easy bypass circuit and connect pink wire directly like It was originaly connected | |

| Finally connectors arrived, everything is soldered up and sun is shining :) went on the test ride, and all i can say there is a noticeable difference, especially in 2nd and 3rd gear. | |
