I've just noticed you've got a steering damper on your trike Tex ? does it like to shake it's head or is because of crosswinds ? I'm baffled :what1:

Lehman recommends a steering damper when running a fairing. I put it on when it was new.I was running a 21 inch MS windshield then. A trike has a tendency to head shake at low speed 10/15 mph. it has more rack as part of the conversion I forgot how much

Must be higher at the back end when converted to a trike Scary as shit them tank slappers

It isn't much shake.only at 5 to 15 mph. Just enough to be annoying. damper takes it out

something like that could probably be removed with a change of tyre Tex, assuming your running the standard front that is ? Have you tried experimenting with raising or lowering your forks 5 or 10mm through the top yoke ? probably not worth it as the damper will serve it's purpose and calm things down, I'd rather have an head shake at 5 to 15 mph than 85 to 90 mph

I thank you are right. I just checked on studded replacement pad.$89.99 plus shipping. don't think so. As I often say."Grampa guffy wont see it going by in a lope"
