Looking at the link I'd go for ready made product instead of fiddling.
Cheapish.

I love mine, wouldn't be without it. I had it disconnected a while ago after doing a job & really misses it. Needless to say went home and reconnected it straight away. I was always leaving my indicators on before but not anymore.
