| I bought these LINK for £50 Hopefully they will do for now and the euro trip. I'll probably add a tail bag and a small tank bag for the big trip to Oktoberfest come September | |

Substitute the beer for spirits- Less space, better effect

| Well they arrived and I have test fitted them. Heres some photos of them thrown over the bike. For £60 delivered they are a bargain! Will post more when I have the bike out in daylight and the bags are tied on. | |

| They look like they'll be melting on exhaust, considering that you've just put them on top of passenger seat.
Absolute bargain and look ace...but I dislike personally the bit in the middle that rubs the crap out of paint :/

| Yeah my Dad's OEM bags melted on his exhaust lol. Theres a good inch to 2 inches of room so fingers crossed they'll be ok | |

| 2 Inches should be fine They tend to be adjustable for extra height? and if they're not? it will give you the chance for a mod and write up | |

| lol, they are at their highest point right now. Well I may punch some holes in the leather throwover and change that if need be.
I would like to mod them by adding zips for easy on/off :)

| A couple of inches from the exhaust is enough space for them to be safe. If you are having them as a fast throw on and pull off then over the seat is fine but if you decide to have the joining section under the seat just spray some wd40 where they will be in contact with the rear mudguard and also spray the material to guarantee no rubbing/friction marks on the plastic. | |

That's what I did works fine. Two inches above the exhausts should be fine in fact mine are a bit closer than that as long as they are not touching that should be alright.

| I had a pair on my Intruder just like that a couple of years ago - still got them in the garage in fact. No problem with the exhaust and they were nearly touching. Not as pliable as leather and lose shape a bit when not full but excellent value and look good. | |

Couldn't get the Mrs Helmet in the bag though :-( So drove around to pick her up with one lid flapping in the wind

| Great stuff!!! Since it works and is safe from the heat, that elevates these to "awesome bargain" status in my books. | |

Very Smart As you say, what a bargain!- even if you have to make some alterations, you can't complain for that price.
