Flickering fog lights on my Triumph

Sorry guys not about an intruder, but I wonder if any has some ideas;
the fog lights on my triumph flash on and off by themselves when im out riding
Sometimes they flicker a bit and then stay on by themselves and I cant switch them off, I have checked the cables for a loose conection, wiggling them about doesn't cause the lights to flicker. I sprayed acf-50 in and around the switch to try and drive out any moisture that might be causing a short circuit and this seemed to help a little bit but the lights still come on occasionally by themselves.
Somebody pulled out in front of me on tuesday because they thought I was flashing my lights to let them go!
The switch itself is a sealed unit I think. does anybody have any ideas as to what may be causing this?

If they will not switch off, the first place to look has got to be the switch.

soory cant help joe but take it easy mate things pulling out in front of you can't be much fun maybe ride your other bike till you get it fixed ride safe mate

try splidt kontarte see if the contact surfaces are clean or if the sites to close to one another.
