Marauder Oil Filter Adapter

I bought this adapter so I could use "common" oil filters which are much more reasonably priced. I also bought the Easy Out tool too since I love tools and I did not have one this size. I would rather use the right tool than destroy a part, and in this case, I did not want to booger up the OE filter adapter.

This will pay for itself in about three oil changes.

Are "common" oil filters that much cheaper than pattern filters (non oem) to warrant such a purchase? especially after buying the easy out tool.

The filters I can now use cost $3USD instead of $9~10USD. The adapter allows you to basically use the same filters as Honda and other Japanese bikes (Except Suzuki).

Of course, if you want to spend more on a filter, you can, but the Puralator filter I use is as good as the OE filter or better based on reviews of filter dissection.
