| I ride a Bandit 650 and a C800 - very different riding positions and styles. I do feel a bit 'invisible' when I park up on the Bandit but the Intruder gets quite a bit of attention. Bet the 1250 was nice but the M800 will be nicer in a different way - looking forward to hearing about your experiences when you get the bike. Patience is a virtue but I aint got any - I can't wait for anything so you're bound to do better than me!! | |

| Yep 11 days to go! what am I going to do till then? how should I run it in? by the method on this site i.e thrash it for the first 20 miles? goes against the grain but I can see some sense in it. What oil to use? synthetic or semi synthetic or just plain old mineral oil till it gets broke in? Decisions decisions!! cant wait now! | |

Bloody Hell even I ain't brave enough to lead the proverbial horse on that one! Mineral oil is a must for the break-in period as a synthetic will not allow the break-in to happen but that's as far as I would ever advise on this subject, it's too controversial! I will start a thread on this one, just to see what others are prepared to say or have done

I hope the next 11 go just as fast It has passed pretty quick so far, but then Ive had my daughters wedding to take my mind off things so now its gonna drag :( Im borrowing my sons old Y reg Ducati Monster at the moment but my god its an uncomfortable beast! cant wait to get the Suzook now! dont want to keep riding the bandit as I am clocking too many miles up on her so shes in the garage now till the deal is completed.
